“We seek to act responsibly in all areas of our business and in particular in relation to the environment”.

Cenergy Holdings and its companies are committed to reducing their environmental impact via compliance with current environmental standards and regulations and through proactively working to meet their goal of actively contributing to the fight against climate change.

Cenergy Holdings companies apply an integrated Environmental Management System to all of their production units which is monitored and certified in accordance with the ISO 14001:2004 international standard. They also endeavour to use natural resources responsibly and promote recycling as a means of minimizing the negative impact of their activities on the environment. Key principles of the environmental policy are:

1. Responsible operation

To be aware of our environmental impact, take precautionary measures to minimise it and prevent environmental incidents.

2. Transparency

We participate in open dialogue on environmental issues with all of our stakeholders, state or non-governmental organisations, academic institutions, local communities and society as a whole.

3. Continuous improvement

Our goal is to continually improve our environmental performance and reduce the environmental footprint of our operations.

4. Compliance with applicable laws

Operations must be compatible with current EU and national environmental laws, and emission restrictions established by environmental permits for our facilities must always be observed.

5. Cooperation with licensed companies

Companies we partner with which are involved in waste management (collection, transport, utilisation, disposal) are required to be licensed with all necessary permits and apply management practices in line with current laws.

6. Training

Company personnel are fully trained and able to actively participate in environmental management. The Company’s objectives can only be achieved if every employee participates.
